Love that SF is coming off a "west to east" flight in which jetlag is said to be at it's worst in the 2nd day after a long flight (they had an off day yesterday)
Stratton is a filler at best and not ready for the bigs as evidenced by his lack of command (12 walks in 19 innings). He wasnt really an effective AAA picher either as he gave up 94 hits in only 79 innings.
SF sucks on the road (19-38) and Washington hits .290 at home. LOVE seeing Daniel Murphy back in the lineup and Adam Lind batting 7th. Not too shabby of a guy to have batting that low! This lineup is stacked.
At first glance, laying chalk with Edwin Jackson seems a bit of a bad idea, but he's pitched well vs. SF (only 5 hits allowed in 12 innings to this same SF team in 2016) and call me crazy, but as bad as he can be, he can also be lights out when he has confidence and he's brewing with it right now.
