Well, KC would have been a good play had they not given up 16 runs, lol :beerbang:
Adding ytd 394-400 (+38.63 units)
Also adding some plays:
Colorado +1.5 -110
A free +1.5 with a team who can hit, and has a young pitcher getting the start that the Braves have never seen before, and has some pretty decent stuff too? I'll take it. Hopefully they can give up a few less than 16 runs....
Nationals -105
Joel Pineiro sucks. The Cards must be pretty desperate for pitching help if they're picking up that goof.
White Sux +140
Vazquez at +140 against a Tigers team who has been ****bagging it for 2 weeks now? Seriously, Vazquez has been real solid for quite some time now, and the White Sux got 5 off Bonderman 2 weeks ago. Since then the Angels shelled the **** out of him too. Plus, the White Sox are playing better than Detroit right now (DET has lost 9 of 11), and this line makes no sense to me. Mega value on the White Sux IMO, who seem to have turned it around with the return of some of their key players like Podsednik, etc.
Brewers +125
The Yost altercation may have woken these guys up....or not, lol. Seriously though, the Brewers as a team have pretty good numbers vs LHP, and Hamels has given up the most HR's in the NL. Not something I'd like to spend my money on against a team like the Brewers who hit the longball pretty well and play in what is pretty much a HR friendly park. A nice value play here IMO in a game where anything could happen.
Brew Crew/Phils over 9 +110
Same as above, plus I don't envision Dave Bush exactly chucking a shutout against the Phils. If it doesn't go over by the 8th or 9th, there's always Brett Myers and Derrick Turnblow to help me out, lol
Seattle +133
SO winning 6 of your last 7 games, being 37-20 at home, beating your current opponent 9 straight times at home, and 10 of the last 12 overall makes you a +133 home dog? I backed the horrible Ramirez last night at -102, I'm sure as hell gonna back Washburn at +133. I certainly hope Richie Suxson rides the pine tonight. Dude's hitting like .195 and all he does is whiff. Ben Broussard anyone?
Agree with a lot of your pics Stif...I don't know why the hell the Tigs are such big favorites...I know most people will be backing Hamels tonight because he pitched so well the other night against the Cubs, but Mil has a pretty damn good home record which is where they play there best ball...I like when the books give us Seattle at nice + money, they seems to overlook that 37-20 record a lot of nights but **** I ain't complaining..
