Two tought-to-take losses yesterday in the Astros Under and Giants ML :bang:
Like two favorites in the early games Saturday. To win one unit on each.
Minnesota Twins (-127) - Laffey making his major league debut against Garza. Twins are decent vs lefties, and I think they hit the rookie pretty well. Garza struck out 11 vs the Indians last time out. I don't think he'll have that same performance but should be enough to get the job done and get the win. The Twins even the series.
LA Angels (-138) - Blanton, who has been terrible lately, vs Escobar. Escobar threw a complete game his last time out and has pitched great since the start of July. The opposite for Blanton who has lost 4 straight decisions. Escobar is due to beat the A's and I think the Angels take the third game of the set.
