Braves -142 (Carlyle) vs Astros - 5 Units
Nice job by the Braves at the deadline picking up some bullpen help, as well as adding Teixeira's huge bat to a lineup that already has Renteria, Chipper, Andrew, Francouer & McCann. Very nice. Maybe Big Tex's precence will get Andrew hot. Anyway...Braves look good, but this is mostly a fade of Wandy on the road. He has worse splits than famous road fade Santana (6-2 with a 1.84 ERA in Houston and 1-7 with a 7.43 ERA on the road). Wow. Atlanta should now be pumped to make a run at the Mets, and in this first game with the new guys, I like them to take it out on the road weary Wandy. Astros also blow on the road as a team, and Carlyle has been pretty good all year.
Royals +125 (Bannister) vs Twins - 2 Units
Battle of the double-B's. I'll take the hotter one, as Bannister as been awesome his past 2 starts, and Bonser has struggled. KC came into this series pretty hot, so I see them avoiding the sweep.
