Nats- bad number which almost kept me off this play, but the Reds are only hitting .240 vs lefties/.247 on the road. Livingston has a 4.24 era in July, & opponents are hitting .340 vs him on the road. The Nats are playing good ball right now & are coming off a split with the Mets. They are 5-2 @ home in the 2ndh.... Zimmerman (.367), Young (.333), & Belliard (.312) all hit well vs lefties. Lean to the under as 6 of 7 home games have totalled 9 or less.

Rockies- Cook has been solid in his last 3 road starts- 20 ip, 3 er. He has a 3.00 era on the road, & I very much prefer him over the head case Olsen... Tavares (.350), Tulowitski (.326), Holliday (.312), & Helton (.306) all hit lefties well. Florida is 1-6 in their last 7, & Olsen has a 6.85 era in July.

Zona/under- Germano has a 7.24 in July, but got hit hard mostly on the road vs the Rockies/Dodgers. He held Zona to 4 hits & 0 runs in 7 innings away. SD is off a 18-11 win, but back home at Petco, I would expect this to be a pitching duel. Zona is coming off a blowout loss after winning 8 straight, & Webb has a 2.49 era in 3 starts vs the Padres. Those 3 games totalled 4, 5 & 7 runs. Unfortunately, Webb hasn't recorded a win vs the Pads, but I think that changes today. Only 2 of the last 7 road games have gone over 7 total runs for the Rockies. It's always scary to play an under with such a low number, but I see a 4-6 run total here.

Cards/Pirates under- Maholm has a 3.86 era in July, Wainwright a 3.12. Cards have trouble hitting lefties (.256), & the Pirates have trouble hitting period. 7 of 8 meetings this year have totalled under 9 runs. Like the Cards, but think the under is stronger.

Man I'm starting to get real excited... been doin a little fantasy scouting this week- won last year so I have to defend my title. Can't wait for those NFL threads either, we always ended up with good discussions. Marshawn Lynch Rookie of the Year :beerbang:
