MLB YTD: 224-203, +17.99 Units
Great week so far...going 9-2, +11.56 Units. Don't like todays card as much...
Tigers -125 (Rogers) vs White Sox - 4 Units
Detroit blew both games of the doubleheader, so I assume like most people (except "public faders"), I'm coming back with them today. I know you shouldn't think this way, but I can't see Detroit losing a third straight to the Sox especially against Contreras, who could be the worst starting pitcher in the AL this year (with respects to Scott Elarton and Edwin Jackson). Chicago also blows against lefties, and Rogers owned the Sox last year to the tune of 3-1 with a 0.82 ERA over 5 starts, and that was pretty much the same linup he'll face tonight.
Dodgers -136 (Lowe) vs Astros - 3 Units
Lowe coming off his worst start of the year, but he was solid before getting hit hard by the Mets, and I like him to bounce back tonight. Also like the LA bats to get to spot starter Albers tonight.
Braves -102 (James) vs Giants - 2 Units
Don't see why the Braves shouldn't be a road fav here...starters seem to be a wash, and you could even say James has pitched better as of late. But the Giants are a horrible team finding ways to lose, do not hit lefties worth ****, and can't matchup with the depth of the Braves hitters.
Was also looking at the Pirates and the unhearalded Gorzlanney....but the Mets have been hot, and Glavine has been $ at home. Also...still looking to find a play in the afternoon Jays game...they sure have played well, but I don't really want to lay that kind of chalk with the hit-or-miss youngster, Litsch. Looking at the total.
