brew crew and d-rays look like solid choices...

just one question... why the cardinals??? there's not a single losing trend in this matchup for the cubbies... zambrano just flat out throws smoke against the cards, and d-lee is coming back... both are coming off a day off in which stl is like 1-4 this year, cubs are the opposite. not trying to knock your picks, just curious as to why you felt they were a good chance to win over the cubbies, especially with kip wells, who might be making his last start for stl every time he goes out on the mound.

The last 3 meetings by these teams have been won by the visiting team, the last two being the Cubs, and the last one by Zambrano. Added to this, everyone and their brother is on the Cubs with a line a little too low for me in such a situation. I also don't rely so heavily on starting pitchers for my picks. I trust the Cardinals bullpen a bit more, too.
