MLB Projected Lines - Friday 29.7.2016

    Hi,

I am new to this forum, so hello to everyone. What I want to share with you are my projected lines for MLB and later for NHL.

I wanted to create MLB and NHL models, which will predict the outcome, or if I am more precise, will calculate winning % for each team. I had math models in the past, but this year I started with new one and with more depth, so it is also more complex. In the first half of the season, my math model totally sucked and I have made couple of changes and I think this one is close to one which I really like.

Those are my projected lines for todays games:

    Game Pitcher Proj.Moneyline

    Mariners Hisashi Iwakuma 135
    Cubs Jon Lester -135

    Cardinals Mike Leake 110
    Marlins Jose Urena -110

    Rockies Tyler Chatwood 198
    Mets Steven Matz -198

    Phillies Vincent Velasquez -189
    Braves Tyrell Jenkins 189

    Pirates Steven Brault -120
    Brewers Junior Guerra 120

    Diamondbacks Zack Godley 186
    Dodgers Kenta Maeda -186

    Nationals Max Scherzer -132
    Giants Jeff Samardzija 132

    Reds Brandon Finnegan -112
    Padres Edwin Jackson 112

    Orioles Kevin Gausman 106
    Blue Jays Marco Estrada -106

    Yankees Ivan Nova 127
    Rays Jake Odorizzi -127

    Athletics Kendall Graveman 158
    Indians Trevor Bauer -158

    Astros Collin Mchugh -101
    Tigers Matt Boyd 101

    Royals Edinson Volquez 117
    Rangers A.J. Griffin -117

    White Sox Jose Quintana 107
    Twins Ricky Nolasco -107

    Red Sox Rick Porcello -135
    Angels Tim Lincecum 135

    My recommended play:
    Mets (-1.5) +143

    Good Luck to everyone!

    Hello Marjan,
Welcome to the forum. In this example you took your highest projected line and then played it on the RunLine. Is that how you normally play your projections? Or?
