    MLB Sunday 7/15

    ytd 333-345 (+20.75 units)

    Nats +145

Too high of a line IMO with the worst home team in baseball. Simontacchi's road numbers are very good, and IMO this game is at the very least a toss up. Mega value on the Nats here.

    Orioles +100

The White Sux are facing an LHP again. Bedard blanked em 2 nights ago, and while this guy obviously isn't Bedard, he's still an LHP, against which the CWS suck. Add on top of it that the White Sox pitching just blows (what a joke Bobby Jenks has become....where must his confidence be right about now?), and that they just blow in general.....and the fact that they're a road fave is just unbelievable to me, let alone that there are over 70% on them again today as such.

    Houston +120

Asking for another beating here. I have never been a big fan of Marquis though, and for some reason I like the potential of Wandy. He's not nearly as good on the road, but today he faces a flubs line up which isn't real great vs LHP, although they're not nearly as bad as the White Sux. Must be something in the water in Chicago that forces those who drink it to suck vs LHP?

    Twins +105

Talk about a set up line...IMO anyway. The all star game starter for the AL against BOOF Bonser, and it's only like -115 to take him? Well, what did Mark Buehrle do in the 2nd half of the season after starting the all star game a few years ago? Suck? Point is that pitchers who were hot in the 1st half often fade in the 2nd, especially when they were never more than average previously. Then add in that the A's are just cold, and the Twins are the better overall team, makes getting them as a home dog a flat out steal IMO.

      Seattle +125

The Seahawks are playing every bit as well as anyone right now. They're 29-16 at home, and Weaver has apparently gotten it together after a rough start to the season, giving up just 7ER in his last 6 starts. Detroit is no slouch and neither is Verlander, but the Detroit bullpen remains questionable while Seattle's is solid and is a major advantage for them in this one. Alot of value with Seattle here as long as Weaver doesn't blow up, which is always a concern with him, although he's proven lately to be in good form, and I have to go with recent performance and what has been happening, over what could possibly happen.

      Arizona -146

Not real often I go fishing at a -146 fave, but Webb has owned SD, giving up only 2 runs in 16 IP against them this season. SD's bullpen has failed them recently, and Germano has gotten bombed in his last 2 starts. Worth the price IMO, as it's tough to see SD teeing off on Webb today.

      St Louis +130

May be stupid reasoning, but the Phils look to avoid loss #10,000 on national TV tonight. Lots of pressure I'd think, especially if they fall behind or start struggling and the boo birds come out, lol. Not my strongest play of the day by any means as far as statistically, but I make as many situational plays as anyone, and this is a spot where I like the value on the Cards. I also like that Larussa left Maroth out there to take a beating yesterday instead of using up his pen again after the whole 1 inning Kip Wells lasted the night before....almost like once Maroth started struggling he was conceding the loss yesterday and planning on going all out to avoid the sweep tonight and be the ones to hand the Phils loss #10,000.
