    MLB Sat 7/14

    ytd 330-340 (+24.01 units)

Playing what I think are alot of value plays today....some of these lines really have me shaking my head, so I guess I'll try em all and see how it turns out. Really, a 3-4 day here wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, and 4-3 would turn a really nice profit.

    Cardinals +188

Did St Louis' bus crash on the way to the stadium? Seriously, Philly sux vs LHP. I don't care about anything else that has to do with this game, with as poor as Philly is vs LHP, and how ****ty their bullpen is, it a toss up, and at nearly 2/1, you gotta be kidding me. A chance I'll take every time.

    Houston +110

They got shut down vs Zambrano yesterday, but I think the A'holes will have a little more success against Lilly pad. They're hitting .281 overall vs LHP, and like I said yesterday, they were previously pretty hot leading up to the all star break. I know the Flubs have been a hot team, but they can't win every day. Oswalt hasn't been anything worth mentioning on the road, but I like his chances against the free swinging Flubs, and I like getting a dog line here in this spot with Houston and Oswalt.

    SF Giants +115

I just like the idea of getting Morris at home at +115, where he is a completely different pitcher than on the road.

    Jays +200

Yea, Boston should be the fave, but not at this price. I mean where is the better than 2/1 advantage for Boston today?

    Orioles -108

I'm just fading the public on this one. Nothing more. 88% on the White Sox? Huh? Why? They stink.

    Arizona +127

I don't see how a team who cannot hit can be favored by this much when they're facing a pitcher who has basically owned them over his whole career. My point is this: If Young isn't lights out tonight, the Padres probably lose....and even if he is, they could still lose due to their often times lack of offense. I see zero value in laying this kind of chalk with the Padres unless they're facing a real piece of **** team/pitcher, which is not the case tonight.

    Braves/Pirates under 8.5 -105

2 hot pitchers going at each other tonight with Gorzelanny and James. I don't see both getting rocked, or either one getting rocked for 6+ runs, which, short of a bullpen collapse like the Giants had last night giving up 6 in the 9th, is the only way this goes over. Like I said, I just don't see either one of these guys getting bombed, let alone both of them. Hoping for no bullpen collapse if both pitchers hold true to how I think they'll do tonight.
