    JML Friday >>>

    MLB YTD: 206-191, +7.08 Units

Horrible day yesterday...thank god for the CFL....only two today...

    Angels +144 (Colon) vs Yankees
Another f'd up NY line that I have to fade. We get this huge number with a first place team and a former Cy Young winner. Granted, Colon hasn't had a great year (although he seems to be turning it around), and the Angels aren't playing great.... But, both teams aren't playing great ball...so why do we get a huge dog line for the better team, the better bullpen, and a wash with the two inconsistant veteran starters? The Yanks are also missing Arod (or not 100% if he plays), and although some of the scrubs got it done yesterday, it still isn't as scary of a lineup top to bottom. Pettite has been hit or miss all year, and is coming off his worst rocking of the year...now he gets to face Vlad, and and the rest of the Angels team that just kills lefties. Holding back from making this a nickel play on this gift line.

Devil Rays -114 (Shields) vs Royals
KC playing good ball lately, but this seems like a good spot for the Drays to end their brutal 11 game losing streak. They've ran into juggernauts Cleveland and Boston on this losing road trip, but they must feel they have a better chance against last place KC. TB has their most consistant starter on the hill in Shields, and hopefully they can score on Odalis, as they do hit lefties quite well.

The Angels own the Yankees too. I can't believe that line is what it is. The public is catching on though, as I'm seeing much higher and higher percentages against the Yanks lately, so I would have to assume the bad Yankee lines would have to come to an end before long.

If you're looking for a value play, this is a no brainer on the Angels though. They probably should be favored IMO. Problem is that when I go against those clowns, they manage to win :bang:

Yeah....Angels own the whole AL East actually....I could possibly see -140 if it was Wang...but Pettite has struggled, and the Halos love teeing off on lefties. Very strange line...I was thinking it would be -115/-120...and that was being generous because of the Yankee effect. Man, if Arod was playing...what would it have been...-180??
