    ***UDoggie's Tuesday Bases***

Took a day off after getting destroyed on Sunday...

    Colorado Rock-Mes-124/rl+155

    D-Rays/Red Sux u9+100

    G-Men+114

    Motor City Kitties-122

2 units each/1 on alt rl

    Twinkies+190

    BlowJays+145

    1 unit each

Trying to whittle my cards down, but having trouble. Would like to cut it to 4 or 5, but I got 6 plays today & I can't let one go.....

Rockies- This team is disaster on the road, but quite an excellent home team as of late... they have won 8 of 9 at home, & Cook has pitched well vs the Mets historically. The Mets are sending Vargas to the mound (yikes!). Not a major league starter, IMO it's quite possible that he gets rocked today. Notable batting averages vs lefties, with at least 60 ab for the year- Holiday(.324), Tulowitzki (.364), Taveras(.367), Helton(.304). I'm sure the Mets are getting some attention as a small dog, but if you ask me the Rockies are the play. 1 unit on the rl, thinking they win 6-3 or so....

TB/Boston u9- I'm normally not a fan of plaing an under involving 2 star pitchers (just too obvious), but today I have to do it. The under is 5-0 in Dice-K's last 5 starts....to help things out, the Rays aren't scoring, & are 6-2 to the under in their last 8 games. Kasmir has pitched well vs Boston too, & I'm getting it at even $$$. 4-3 Red Sox......

Giants- Lemme get this straight- The Reds are favored over a LHP? That LHP is ZITO? IMO there is a perception that Zito sucks this year, but he's been pretty solid lately. The Reds don't deserve to be faves today, I don't care if Harang-utan is pitching. Philly knocked him around his last outing (6ip 8 hits & 5 er), hopefully Zito is on.

Tigers- I was thinking this could be a letdown spot for the Indians, & after seeing HomeDawg on it, it's a go.....

Twins- Silly line, IMO. Yanks are 3-6 last 9, Minny has a slightly better record & is 20-19 on the road. Arod won't play, which means Cairo likely goes. Silva has been roughed up on the road early in the season, but his last 21 ip he's allowed 6er on 19 hits. IMO Wang is NY's best pitcher, but that's not enough to justify this line.

Jays- Litch is bad, I know. I just have to play one more doggie & the A's aren't deserving of this high a number. Blanton has been stellar at home, but the A's are 4-6 in his last 10 starts. They are also 3-6 in their last 9 (Tor is 4-5). Then there is the A's pen. It all adds up to me thinking Toronto has some value. It was either them of the Nationals, & I didn't like the idea of fading Zambrano right now.....

That's it for the day, hopefully the gambling gods smile on me today. I'm so ready for Football.......... :jiggy:
