Tell me about it....HD for some reason I can't hit a dog rl to save my life, so I tend to steer clear. I was close to playing the Oreos +1.5 today, solely based on the Padres inability to generate offense. As for the nicknames, I thought most were pretty common (Oreos, Twinkies.. etc) & the others could be figured out. Sorry for any confusion, just trying to have a little fun. Some ones I have used that may not be so self explanatory....


A's- A-holes, F's, Elephants

Braves- Bees

Devil Rays- D-Raisens

Tigers- Motor city kitties, Ligers

Royals- R's

Cubs- sCrUBS

Pirates- Rats

LAD- los Doyers

D-Backs- rattlers

Phillies- Phanatics


Some are historic, some are just stupid names I made up. Most all other ones I use just rhyme with the name- Screwers, Rock-mes, Strangers...can't think of any other ones I've used at the moment. Sorry for the confusion. JoePa's nicknames are on a whole different level LoL.

Worked for me the other night when Stif's Mom played the A's but called them the A'Holes. I thought that nickname was for the Halos (spelling is close) and tailed him by playing Anaheim. The Halos won...the A's did not...lol...got lucky there!

LoL that's great Angelus- seems to be the one nickname people confused most, & why I started calling them the F's. Someone thought it was the Astros too....
