Fading Schmidt again....
I also considered SF because I like fading the rediculous lines Dice K draws, but SF is just awful at 6-14 in their last 20 games, the worst in the NL, and while Cain is solid, their bullpen is ****.
Dice K sucks IMO, but the odds may be justified there just due to the fact that Boston is far superior in every other aspect of the game.
Also considered playing the Braves against the cold Tribe again, but with Smoltz being a ?, I decided to pass. If Smoltz were going along at 100%, that play would be a no brainer for me, but then again, if he were 100%, I'm guessing the Braves would be about -130.
May play some night games. There are a few i'm considering, but the card really isn't all that exciting to me today. I'm having a hard time finding any real value or big mismatches anywhere, other than the -180 A's over Cardinals line, in which I think the A's have a clear advantage, but -180 isn't my thing, lol
The Pirates look like great value just because they're a pretty big home dog against the pathetic White Sox, but backing Van Benschoten doesn't really do much for me either. He hasn't pitched in the majors since like 2004, so not much to go by for me, other than that the public is 85% on the horrible White Sox. Van Benschoten could be another Buddy Carlyle, who sucked ass like 2 years ago, went back to the minors and apparently worked things out, and may now be a solid MLB starter for all I know....but then again, he might just still suck, lol
