    My 2% - 06/16

I play 2% of my bank on every play, adjusted with each 20% increase in my bank (like that's going to ever happen again). I play every game I post. To simplify things here, all calculations are based on $100 plays.

    Y.T.D
    134-119-5
    $1913
    W.T.D.
    11-7-1
    $452

    YANKEES (RL) +140 over mets
    TWINS -132 over brewers

              I couldn't agree more.

I see no way to win in the long run if you're just wildly betting different amounts on each play, playing games just because they're on TV and you need a reason to make it exciting to watch, or start betting larger to try and make up for losses.

Ever since I got myself away from doing those three things about 2 years ago, I found my bankroll steadily increasing instead of decreasing.

Slow and steady wins the race. Just just gotta have the discipline, which is often difficult when you're losing.

Just don't tell Quick Nick that betting every game on the card (and parlaying them all together in different combinations too, lol), throwing 50 units on one play and 2 on the next, and chasing losses is a bad thing, lol.

the rush of betting on TV games got to me a few years ago. I'd still handicap, but it was more of a "Forced" choice, rather than a walk away.
