    Tuesday MLB Picks

Didn't get here yesterday to get picks in, so "starting" the week with:

Miami +118 - I'll be the first to admit I misjudged Wood for the Braves, but that herky-jerky style reminds me a little of Zito back when he threw fastballs. But I'm going big-picture in hopes of winning this one. Fernandez is way better a pitcher, and as a dog I'm biting.

NYY +108 - I'll take Tanaka against Lester at Fenway. Tanaka's splitter is perfect for that park. Yanks need him to be an ace tonight too.

Phil +163 - Burnett is leading the pack in the "pitched better than his numbers" category, although his numbers are pretty good. Was outdueled by Atlanta's Wood last time, but he's still pitching well early and I'm hoping the Dodgers scuffle again on offense (and that it wasn't just Cliff Lee paintin' it black yesterday).

    GL All.
