Went 1-1 for even money on initial post yesterday.
Today there are a couple of short favorites I strongly considered (TB-Price at -117; MIA-J.Fernandez at -120; PIT-Liriano at -101), but I walked from them all and will only play my two dogs for tonight.
Cubs +135 - I hate playing the Cubs, but Smardzija is due. Overdue, in fact. Hoping the offense finds a way to get a few for him.
Mets +150 - This line is based entirely on LAA's Skaggs last outing (8IP, 4H, 1R), but those with short memories will note that it was against the Triple A Astros. The Mets are hot and I think the lightup Skaggs' titties tonight.
