Houston a -150 road fave? Nice concept....but yikes. These guys are 24-34 overall and just 11-18 on the road. How do they have this much of a chance to win today? OH, Roy Oswalt, that's right. But than again, nah, he's also 2-3 with an ERA of 5.91 on the road this year, and 0-2 with an ERA of 6.23 in daytime starts. I don't like Fogg, but this game should be a pick em at the very most.
Oakland A's +135
NO WAY the Red Sox could fall victim to a 4 game sweep, could they? Maybe not, but I'm not really sure what that matters in this game. The matchups would be the same had Boston taken the first 3, so what does avoiding a sweep have to do with it? Truth is that Boston hasn't been able to hit for **** in this series. They've been given tons of walks and done nothing but hit into double plays. They're cold. The A's on the other hand just keep finding ways to win. Blanton has a 2-0 record vs Boston lifetime with an ERA of 3.10 and an ERA of just 2.04 at home this year so far. Not sure how Boston should be favored to win today. If today is the day Boston gets hot and wins, then so be it....but instead of trying to predict the future, I'm going to go with what should happen, instead of what might happen, and keep going with what's been happening.

Short card, but might have a few more later. Eyeing the LAD at +200. I agree SD should be favored, but WTF kind of line is that?
