    Help with a Middle Opportunity

Before the Oakland/Detroit Game I bet on Detroit +205 to win the series.
Thursday Nights game has Oakland +108

    Options: (assuming a $100 bet)
    1) Do Nothing, either win $205 or lose $100
    2) Bet 92.60 on Oakland to win $100; if Oakland wins I lose& lose nothing; if Detroit wins I win $112.40
    3) (Maximized opportunity): Bet $147 on Oakland +108, if Oakland wins then I win $159, but lose the $100 on detroit for a plus $59); if Detroit wins then I win the $205 and lose the $147 on oakland and end with a plus $58)

    So Any Opinions:

    $205 vs -$100
    $112.40 vs $0
    $59 vs $59

Is 59 bucks enough of a middle for you to care? I mean if you're talking 100 dollar units, it's barely over a half unit.

I'd say if you believe in your Detroit play at +205, i'd stick with it. At this point you have Detroit +205 to win tomorrow night when they are actually priced at -115 to -120 at most places, so at the least you've got a great line on the game, assuming you still like them to win.

Now if you were adding another zero to the end of all of those numbers, i'd probably hedge, and i'd probably take the last choice, where you make the same either way.
