Won close to 3 units last night going 4-3 but hitting the big Tigers play.
What a game in Toronto last night...Aaron Hill steals home on Pettite to help win the game late (with the Yanks a huge fav again of course...LOL)...placing the New York Yankees in last place with June around the corner. Boston can win the division by 40 games over Toronto, but if NY ever finished the year in last it would be my 3rd favourite MLB season of my life.
Anyway...Wednesday's games...
Braves -122 (Hudson) vs Brewers - 2.5 Units
Hudson over Bush on a small number...simple as that. Bush has been terrible. Hudson can be lights out. Brewers finally stopped their losing streak....barely.
Dbacks +110 (Unit) vs Phils - 1.5 Units
Unit as a dog? He's been sick his last 2 starts, giving up only 2 runs and striking out 19 (no walks). Zona quietly one of the hottest teams in baseball. Moyer is so what. Sweep.
Indians +170 (Byrd) vs Red Sox - 1 Unit
I'll go back to the Tribe on an inflated number...this team is too good to be consistantly getting +170 lines. Dice-k's ERA at home is 5. Sweep-buster.
Padres -137 (Young) vs Pirates - 2.5 Units
Young one of the NL's best starters over the month of May...I like him to get the win with the Pads coming off a loss to the Bucs last night, and facing the below average Maholm.
Marlins +135 (Mitre) vs Cubs - 1.5 Units
This Mitre kid is getting no respect every start....all he has done is completely shut down every team he has faced...gotta take him as a big dog against the flubs. Lilly back to being his inconsistant self. Sweep.
Orioles -130 (Bedard) vs Royals - 2 Units
Two prime starters going in different directions...Meche started out great, but has been rocked his past two starts...Bedard started out slow, but has been dominant his past 5 starts, and leads MLB in SO's. Also two teams going in opposite directions with the O's playing good ball winning 4 straight and the Royals back to their losing ways. Sweep.
Mariners +108 (Felix) vs Angels - 1.5 Units
Hit LA last night with the whole Santana @ home riddle (seriously...WTF is that)...but Seattle's bats were on fire coming into last night, and with King Felix back on the hill tonight, I like the M's as a dog.
