    tuesday bases

    (56-25)(+24.73 units) favorite bets
    (21-25)(+2.79 units) underdog bets

    (77-50)(+27.52 units) overall

3-0 (+3.00 units) last night. All my picks were favorites again. My winners were the Yankees, White Sox and Giants. Will be hard to top that tonight, but lets give it a try. I am getting the feeling it is going to be a strange night, so I am going to change things up a bit and take some dogs. I have a feeling to expect the unexpected tonight. Here are Tuesday’s plays.

Florida +116 vs Philllies………..I have always been a huge phillies fan, so I have known about Cole Hamels for a while. Now non phillie fans are finding out about him as well. People are jumping on board now and I have a crazy feeling he does not do well tonight. The only problem he has or is known for is loss of control once in a while. When he throws strikes he is awesome. My gut tells me he struggles at Florida. The marlins have always been a thorn in the phillies side as well. I almost hope I am wrong, but I don’t think I am. Got to bet with your head and not your heart. I have done well playing phillie games, whether for or against this year.

San Francisco +102 vs Houston…………..I am not afraid of Oswalt for the Astros. This kid pitching for the Giants, Lincecum has great stuff and he will eventually be an ace for a team. Houston bats have been known to go quiet more often than not, so Lincecum has a good shot at shutting them down. Hopefully the Giants can get a few, they won’t need many tonight.

Detroit +115 vs Angels………….Angels might have the pitching advantage tonight, then again maybe not. Detroit is 7-0 in Maroth starts, but he missed last outing with stomach virus. Lackey is 4-1, 2.34 in his last five starts. Tigers playing well, hitting the ball well and are at home. Angels have been a great home team, but they have a losing record on the road. I don’t think they have any business being road favs tonight at all. I will take my chances.

Atlanta +113 vs Mets…………Mets appear to be the class of the division so far. Notice I said so far. The braves are pesky this year. They have beat teams you would think they would not and have lost to some cupcakes this year. Big pitching advantage for Mets tonight as well and they are an incredible 14-5 on the road this year. I just don’t see them keeping that pace up. Braves need this one badly and I think they will be more up for this than the mets will be. I will take a shot with maybe a more hungry home dog tonight.

Dodgers -105 vs Milwaukee………….From reading on the net today, many people on the brewers and Sheets tonight. People can not make up their minds as to whether the brewers are for real or not. I think they are, but they are not the great team that they started off as this year. I have always been a big Randy Wolf fan when from he was with the phillies. Good lefties are hard to find. Dodgers are too good offensively to keep struggling as well. My gut tells me Wolf throws a dandy while the offense scores just enough to win.

Only one favorite and four dogs tonight. That is very unlike me, but I have a feeling tonight is going to be goofy. Got to follow my gut. I will either look like a genious or a moron tomorrow.

    Good Luck Everybody!!
