    wednesday bases

    FIRST HALF RECORD (162-155)(+10.53)
    SECOND HALF RECORD (48-43)(-5.90)¬
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    SEASON RECORD (210-198)(+4.63)

2-0 picking up 1.94 units on my first day back of betting bases. For those wondering where I have been I am only betting bases because I am off work with back problems and am waiting to have back surgery. This being off work with nothing to bet on during non-football days are a killer. Here are Wednesday’s baseball picks.

Phillies -130 vs NY Mets (one unit)…………I was all over the Mets yesterday, but with the rainout last night, it lets the phils skip yesterday’s pitcher and now we get Cole Hamels. Apparently the phils only have problems beating the horrible teams like the Astros.

Angels -121 vs Texas (two units)………..Angels playing the much better ball of these two teams lately. This is a great price to get Wilson at home. Red hot Angels fighting for a playoff spot as well. I know Texas needs to keep winning as well with Oakland getting close, but I think more of a sense of urgency for the Angels here.

Parlay risking one unit to win one unit………..why not? I won this one yesterday and it looks almost as good today.

    St Louis vs Houston
    San Fran vs Colorado

I want to see how the first game of some of these doubleheaders go. I may be back to play some game two’s.

    Good Luck Everybody!!

    Just saw this line...........adding play

Under 14 (-120) Cincinnati/Cubs (one unit)..............I don't care if there is a tornado blowing out to center field. I will take my chances. Leake is a decent pitcher and it is just a ton of runs. I realize it could easily lose, but I have to take my chances on this one since I have not seen a total this high in a while. Of course Wrigley and/or Coors Field is the only place you will see totals this high. Should be a fun game.
