4-2 yesterday, losing my Jays fade....lots more today...
Braves -134 (Davies) vs Nats - 2 Units
Seems pretty low going against the worst team in the majors (statistically speaking) with a reliever forced into the rotation...Davies coming off a gem.
Marlins -101 (Olsen) vs Pirates - 2 Units
Hit with the Marlins as a dog yesterday because they have superior numbers against lefties...they hammered Maholm, and face another one as a dog again today. Olsen solid.
Phillies -140 (Hamels) vs Brewers - 2 Units
Two teams going in opposite directions...looks like the Brewers might be coming back to earth a bit, they are only an average 9-9 on the road... and get to face face the very tough Hamels for hopefully another loss.
Blue Jays -162 (Burnett) vs Orioles - 3 Units
AJ has been awesome lately, and I got to see it first hand when I saw his last start from the 23rd row behind Overbay. Man that dude has serious heat. Also...it's well documented here how the Jays do against lefthanded pitching (.226 vs RH, .314 vs LH)... and they face a rookie lefty fill-in starter tonight. I guess the Jays overall record is keeping this number under -200.
Mets -124 (Sosa) vs Cubs - 2 Units
Mets bounce back from last nights blowout, IMO. We have another team that demolishes lefties...the Mets (an unbelievable .340!) getting a low number here because of Hill's hot start....but he got rocked last start by Philly...and Sosa's been good.
Dbacks -119 (Webb) vs Rockies - 2 Units
Yesterday's dog line with Unit seemed like a gift, and it was....this seems low as well with another dominant starter going for Zona. Webb coming off a CG, 1 run gem...and I like him on this low number tonight. Who are the Rockies to be getting these pick'ems against this kind of quality rotation?
Dodgers -154 (Wolf) vs Cards - 3 Units
Wow...Kipper still has a job. I'll fade him till he doesn't. Cards also horrible against lefties batting under the mendoza line this year...and they face a good one tonight in Wolf coming off a 7 inning shutout. Could get ugly.
A's -218 (Blanton) vs Royals (Perez) - 4 Units
Fading Senor Perez. Blanton having a nice quiet year on the coast. KC is horrible, and just plain don't win unless Meche is on the mound. Actually Meche or De la Rosa. KC has only won 6 of their last 19 games...and either Meche or De la Rosa has started all 6. That leaves the rest of the rotation a tidy 0-13. Plus...it's so fun fading Odalis...A's in a romp.
