Well the game is over, but here are the notes that I went with while looking at the game.
1) Sowers, going into the game had given up 36 hits in 30-2/3 innings. Hits vs IP is a stat that I'll always look at..even more-so than ERA. Add to this the fact that the Indians are 1-4 with him on the mound with Natural turf
2) Angels have struggled lately, but they're 5-1 when Escobar has been on the mound
3) Probably the biggest reason was the come from behind dramatic win last night and the line-up shake up today.
