The chalk eater is back! I gotta though! Slade Cecconi struggled with his jump from Double-A to Triple-A where he had a 6.38 ERA Hes the D-Backs 9th rated prospect, so they don't expect much from him. He's simply a filler in this spot. Pretty brutal making your major debut on the road for a team that is 3-9 in their last 12 games vs. a Giants team who is heating up and against a veteran pitcher like Logan Webb who has a 2.20 ERA at home.
Note: Don't get cute and lay the runline to avoid the juice. Six out of the last seven Giants games have been one-run affairs!
