Alek Manoah will probably recover from the yips at some point, but I feel like they brought him back too early. Performance anxiety sucks and can wreck a career. He's gotten beat up all season. They should have shut this poor kid down for the year.
He'll be facing a Detroit team that has won three of their last five games. Specner Torkelson has been looking like the prospect I thought he'd be and Kerry Carpenter is a nice bat too. The Tigers have been home for three or four days, as opposed ot the Jays who played a double header yesterday and then had to travel to the Motor City.
There's lots to like here with the underdog Tigers!
