    wednesday bases

    (40-15)(+21.21 units) favorite bets
    (16-23)(-3.04 units) underdog bets

    (56-38)(+18.17 units) overall

Went 2-1 (+0.86 units) with my favorite plays and won my only dog picking up 1.48 units, so a decent night overall. I am happy with it. Three afternoon games today I missed, but I did not like any of them so it don’t matter. Here is what is left that I have come up with.

Florida -127 vs LA Dodgers………….I am just about always going to go with Florida at these odds, at home with Willis on the mound. Florida is 6-1 in Willis starts, scoring 54 runs. Tomko is 0-3, 6.35 in his last three starts. Willis has a high era this year, but his team seems to score a lot of runs for him and going against Tomko they should do so again.

Pittsburgh +120 vs Cubs…………I won with the bucs last night as a dog vs the cubs, and I am coming right back with them again. The pirates have been a streaky team this year, both winning and losing. My gut tells me they now win a few in a row. Pitching matchup about dead even in this one. I guess I am counting on the cubs screwing up again.

Angels -122 vs Cleveland……………Angels went into last nights game with a 12-5 record at home and they lost and I had them. I don’t see them losing two in a row at home to Cleveland. Jared Weaver has 2.31 ERA in his last two starts. Angles have lost three in a row now, but I feel Jared Weaver get it done tonight and the Angels snap their losing streak. 12-6 at home is still a very good record. I see value in only laying the -122.

I think I will stop with those three. I was real tempted to take Atlanta at -150, that is my limit for favs, but something tells me to lay off this game. Smoltz due for a loss, but I don’t like it enough to play the other side either.

    Good Luck Everybody!!
