    Monday Major League Baseball Pick

    YTD 48-29 +7.58 Units

    Pick: Mets -185

Colin Rea isn't good, itsn't horrible, he's actually very steady in what he does. I LOVE when a pitcher is as predictable as Rea. He's always has an road ERA of 5.00+, so he's one we like to pick on in the right spots.

He'll be opposed by Jason Verlander, who has had some ups and downs, but if you look at his game logs you'll see he likes to pitch at City Field. He's only allowed ONE earned run in each of his last three starts at home.

The Brewers bats are ice cold. They're hitting .197 over the past seven days and the second half of their lineup isn't hitting at all.

The Mets have lost more games than they've won lately, but I'm cutting it some slack because they played at Philly and Houston, two tough venues.

I think tjhe Mets have a scoring range of 5-6 runs tonight and the Brewers in the range of no more than 3 runs.
