    Saturday: Reds vs. Pirates Pick

    YTD 15-5-0 +9.67 Units

    Betting: Pittsburgh Pirates -147

Fading the Reds on the road has been the best bet of the season. Furthermore, they've only hit 2 homers over 266 at bats away from home. The team has lost four games in a row. Pitt has won five games in a row. Rich HIll does scare me a little bit at 43 years old, but he looked good in his last outing at Coors Field where he only allowed one earned run over six innings.

The biggest reason I'm betting against the Reds is Luis Cessa. He's allowed 33 hits/walks combined in only 12 innings this season. I don't know if I've ever seen a run that bad without a player getting sent down or put on the DL. That equates to putting 2.75 runners on base per inning!!!!

I thought this line would open at -185 or so and was surprised to see it at -147 so am hammering it.
