Rockies/Rangers OVER 8.5 runs
Gomber has really struggled since returning from his month long layoff due to injury. He's really only had one good start, and frankly speaking, he's been absolutely horrible on the road, allowing 14 ER over his past 9.2 innings. This is bad news for him as the Tex. is 3rd in MLB in hitting over the past 7 days (Scored 7 or more runs in six of their last nine games). On the flip side, gas-can Jordan Lyles takes the hill for Texas. He's been even worse, allowing 5 or more earned runs in four of his last five start. The Rockies can tend to not hit well on the road and the Ragers are, well, the Rangers! I'm not going huge on this one but like it to go over the 8.5. I also believe Texas wins the game, but don't have the balls to back Lyles who is one of the meatballiest pitchers in baseball!
