Betting Against the Astros ROY

Think there's $$$ in this anyone?? I know vegas odds are sharp as can be but if this team plays .300 baseball the rest of the way (very possible) given their mediocre at best SPs and their TERRIBLE AWFUL WORST IVE SEEN IN YEARS offense I think they could very well end up playing at about that clip. Any Astros "fans" out there with comments...take a look at the lineups theyve been trotting out post-Pence and Bourn its really a joke. The end of their bullpen is ok (Melancon, Lopez) but this team is just so bad i think if you can anything under -140 home or away it migth be profitable...anyone have insight...id love to get a bit of a discussion going on this.

I was thinking of doing the same, but doing a chase against them. There will be a lot of juice laid against them, but we'll see. Already won with Cincy last night.

I think you're a month or two too late. Books know they blow and soon we will have to pay over the top to fade them. It would likely still be profitable because I don't think astros have a team where they could put together a stretch of 5 or 6 wins in a row. After today I don't think we will see many opportunities to fade houston at -140 or less. And fi we do, they are probably goofy lines.

perfect example tonight of why i dont think this would work. You get the scenario to fade astros at -140 and the astros steal one. Then you chase at a even juicier line. I don't like it.
