    Pittsburgh Pirates (Maholm) -150

    Cincinnati Reds RL +115

    Los Angeles Dodgers (Kershaw) -130

    Oakland Athletics RL +140

    Pirates are going to be amped going past the deadline deal, arguably doing the most of any other team in the division (perhaps sans St. Louis), Reds going to take advantage of Houston's fire-sale. San Diego going to feel it after getting rid of Ludwick and Adamsm, and same with Oakland capitalizing on Seattle.

                      Cooler on the over last night as both teams had bases juiced with one out, and couldn't plate anything, late in the game - top of eight and bottom of eight... frustrating to watch on gamecast.

                          Friday:

                          Toronto Blue Jays (Mills) -125 for one unit. Baltimore absolutely terrible against lefties (11-20 this year), haven't played well during night games, and versus teams with winning records. I'm going to trend this one out, even though Mills does not have great stuff.

                          Minnesota Twins (Blackburn) -105 for one unit. Chase series for Twins win starts tonight.

                              Right on about the Jays - sorry for the Orioles backers tonight.

                              Twins lose game one of the series... so onto game two:

                              Twins (Pavano) -105 to win 2.05 units.

                              Other plays:

                              St. Louis Cardinals (Carpenter) -130 to win one unit.

                              Oakland Athletics (McCarthy) +135 for one unit. McCarthy outdueled Price last time these two faced each other and I like him to do again vs the rookie Cobb.

                                                  Thanks for the encouragement Phil. I've been doing well when I scale back my games this year, and if not for a couple of failed chase series, I'd be up several more units. Not to worry though - picking my spots and staying in the black.
