Good luck today Stif. I've been hemming and hawing on this game all day. Line opened at FLA -140 and has been bet down down down... I guess we're hoping Z comes back from the DL poorly? I've been the wrong way on the first two games of this series...

But Vazquez for having a rep as a gas-can, has been on point in his last three outings, 20 IP only 15 hits allowed...

Good start there Stif. Boy Stanton is fun to watch, really think he's going to be one of the best OFs in the game in the next couple of years.

Not that it matters now, but on the early game my thinking was that Z isn't really all that threatening anymore even when his head is straight and he's in good form. Coming off the DL and leaving his last start the way he did, I figured there was fair reason to believe he wouldn't be on top of his game today. On top of that the Cubs pen blows chunks and it with the fire no longer shooting out of Ramirez' ass the Cubs offense isn't really all that threatening either.

Florida on the other hand, has played pretty well since McKeon took over and while Vazquez has his ups and downs, he's been good lately and like I said, I didn't really fear the Clubs offense anyway.

I've been cold lately, but that one worked out for me :thumbs:

You're right out of Florida. I think McKeon has his boys playing for him after benching Hanley like that. Boy this old guy has some stones, and they've been playing with a fire. You're right about Z now that I think about it. He's not fired up for the right reasons anymore, if at all. Hard to back someone as a teammate when you don't see them the way you're used to seeing them...
