A 3-1 last night to erase the negatives of May, now it's time to get on the positive side. Although I am very disappointed that Kyle Davies didn't hang around long enough to get shelled last night as I was planning to go back to the well on the Mazzaro over today. Amazing those two bums threw gems against NY, you knew it couldn't last.

I don't think either pitcher pitches well here and both teams do a good job of scoring runs without the use of the HR. That should help the total in Atlanta where it is a little more difficult than average to hit HR's. I don't expect Lowe to shut them down and Atlanta has been grinding out atleast 2-3 runs in each game. I don't see any reason each team can't put 3 on the board if the pitchers pitch well. But I think one of them gives up 5 or more runs in the first 5 innings. Wandy has been over the 110 pitch number in 5 straight starts and Lowe has been very inconsistent. Houston also hits Lowe well (Bourn, Lee, Pence and Downs) and that is the portion of the order that generates most of their runs. Also not the most popular play on the board.

I don't think this line move is warranted although Ubaldo has been bad at times. We have two offenses who have struggled mightily especially against pitchers from these sides (RH, LH). Ubaldo and Sanchez both have outstanding numbers against their opponent (especially post humidor) and neither has been stressed in their most recent outing. Also, there is weather in the area today and hopefully it won't be an issue with the starters depth in the game but the winds are forecast to be blowing in during the game.
