Pittsburgh kept trying to give that game back. With Volqez spotting every team 2-4 runs to start, you have to like playing against them....I'm going to look into playing the fist 5 against Cincy every time he pitches until he gets out of this, but he is avg 33 pitches in the first inning and a 27+ ERA in the first inning.

Always tough to bet against your own team (also the Reds for me too). But I really considered taking the Pirates for the 1st 5 today, but I figured we would get to Karstens too (which we did). Tough game to watch as we gave away so many opportunities to take over the game.Comment

I agree...it is hard for me to bet against the reds, but until he can get going, it seems like easy money (the first 5). Also, as soon as I do it, he'll strike out the side in the first inning and then, I'll lose the bet, so I may do it just to help the team.a.d.
