Went 2-1 yesterday and picked up +1.39 units. It should be +3 if the D-Bags don't give up a few homers in the 9th. :puke:
I may be crushing myself, but I'm really liking the full card today and am going to go for it. Scared money doesn't win money, right?
Milwaukee/Pitt - over 8 +105 One of these days Correia is going to come back down to earth, and the Crew literally has owned the Pirates for a few years now. Marcum has been getting tagged around a lot too so far this season. I'll take +105 for a mere 8 runs.
St. Louis Cards - Carpenter -140 This is right on the border of where I'll eat chalk. Carp, against a D-Bags lineup that has been hot but really is just awful. Plus I think the Cards have woke up finally. Here's where I jump.
Toronto BJ's - Romero -111 I think the kid Pineda is going to special someday soon, but the Jays are a better team and Romero should be getting more respect against the rookie here IMO. The Jays bullpen can't piss two in a row, can they?
Baltimore - Tillman +165
Kansas City - Francis +135
Tampa Bay - Price +165
Florida -Volstad +163
Dodgers - Billingsley +162
Yes, it's Dog day for me. In all five of these games I think the pitching matchups are a lot closer than the oddsmakers are giving them credit. I merely going on Balt. and Showalter back in NY in the first one ... a gut play. Francis has looked impressive in two starts, and Minny is struggling. Price as a +165 dog? I'll bite. Volstad has pitched good against the Braves, and Hunter is struggling. Same story for Billingsley, he's pitched well against SF in the past and stranger things have happened. I may be signaling my own doom, but then they wouldn't call it gambling would they?
GL to yall!
