It was 70-80 degrees in Wisconsin this past weekend so I was outside and not at the computer to play the game, I guess I'm not as bad a degenerate as my wife thinks I am.
So Friday was my last play (2-2 for a wash +/- 0). Which leaves me:
Week 1 - 7-4, +4.1
Week 2 - 9-6-1, +0.25
Ready for week three.
Tampa Bay - Hellickson +139 The damn Rays have already burned me a few times this year, I'm about to scratch them off my card every day, those bastards. But I like Hellickson against an over-rated Sox lineup at this price, although Dice-K might be able to handle the struggling Rays lineup just as well. I like the value on Hellickson here as the dog.
Cubs/Houston - over 8.5 +100 Despite losing two of three over the weekend to the Brewers, the Cubs are actually scoring runs. I don't figure that Figueroa will hold them down tonight, and Dumpster isn't what he used to be, it seems like the league has figured out his whole "rotating his glove thing with the ball in it" that he does in his windup. I'll go over for even money.
St. Louis/Arizona - under 9.5 +100 With Holliday back the Cards may start scoring some runs, and it's not like Enright is likely to shut them down. I guess I'm sort of looking at the fact that the D-bags hammered the Reds for 24 runs in the series, and I'm betting that McClellan can cool them off quick. I'm hoping for a 5-2 or 6-3 type of game so I can cash at even money.
GL to all! :beerbang:
