Went 2-1 on posted plays yesterday, for a plus unit. I did get my other two "picks" in but was unable to declare them in here, so I won't count them on my tally (but I'll take the cash in my account!).
So, 4-3-1 for the week, down a -.05 unit.
Houston - Brett Myers +130 Backing the punch-less Astros makes my tummy turn, but Myers was filthy in the opener and the Reds are bound to lose one of these days. (Sorry Horfin, Redsfan!). I'll take Myers to do it today at a tasty dawg price.
Tampa Bay - David Price +105 See my above explanation about punch-less offense and insert the Rays. But Price as a dog is too enticing to pass up.
Washington/Florida - over 7.5 +105 I think Lannon's first outing was a fluke, and the numbers for the over are strong (over is 7-2-1 in Johnson's 10 starts vs. Nats) for the over so I'm going to take the chance hoping that Johnson doesn't dominate.
I also like Atlanta (Hanson), but I don't bet for or against my hometown team Milwaukee so I have to recuse myself from that wager.
