Friday:

Chicago Cubs (Garza) +130 - tailing JB's thoughts on this -> Rockies have to fly home, across the country, after double-header yesterday.

Texas Rangers (Harrison) +110 - cannot overlook Harrison's hot start: only given up seven hits in 14 innings, 2 ER, 3 BB. This should be a good test tonight.

Might pull the trigger on Matt Cain - but that line scares me and appears a bit too soft.

Baltimore Orioles (Bergesen) +115 - if there's a chink in Cleveland's armor - it's Carmona. Once heralded as a young stud, this guy has had bad control problems lately... as a sinker-baller, you leave it up in the zone and you're toast.

Monday:

Ricky Romero +110 - almost seems too good to be true to get a stud like this at this price, WHIP under 1, ERA under 2, Dice-K got lit up first start especially at the front of the order (Fuld and Damon combined for seven hits and seven RBIs).

Shawn Marcum +100 - fading Blanton but really not liking the Brewers road woes this year. We'll see.

Esmil Rogers +110 - home underdogs have been hitting hugely so far this year. COL 4-0 as home dogs this year. SF 1-4 supporting Lincecum at COL last five.

Did someone get to watch the Rockies/Giants game yesterday afternoon? Cain lines are soft to begin the year, and with good reason. Ew. 1-2 day hitting Bud Norris.

Thursday:

WAS/STL o8.5 +105 - WAS over 9-4, STL over 7-1-1 overall.

BAL/MIN u8.5 -120 - MIN an under machine at 5-13 today. As long as Scott Baker leaves his fastballs low, this should be fine. Wegner at the dish today, four games in he's 1-3 for o/u.

Detroit Tigers RL +130 - DET 5-0 vs CHI when Verlander starts (4-1 in home starts). Detroit has won last six meetings.

Minnesota Twins (Duensing) -120 - Carrasco for Carmona.

So, I made the Twins bet on BetUS when I guess for a moment, Carlos Carrasco was put in to pitch for Fausto Carmona. It turns out Carmona does pitch but I used listed pitchers... we'll see how this goes.

Detroit Tigers (Penny) +105 - I don't understand this line as Penny is a gas can and Jackson was roughed up last outing. I'll take the home dog today.

That's probably all for today unless I can find a better line on SEA/OAK tonight. Don't like 6.5

EASTER Sunday:

COL/FLA o7 +105 - Both of these pitchers are awesome, but Jiminez coming off the DL. Has not won a start in his last five appearances with the over hitting 3-2. Johnson is hot - hasn't given up a run in his last two starts. Finally Dale Scott at the dish where the over is 4-1... is this why the line is 7 and not 6/6.5??

Diamondbacks +115 - Bottom line is both Niese and Galarraga aren't off to hot starts, but the Dbacks are winning when Galarraga is on the hill.

That will be it for today, though leaning Astros and Angels.

Tigers -120 - Danks has not been good at all, trying to find his first start without Konerko and Rios in the lineup isn't going to help.

Monday:

COL/CHI o7 -125 for 2 units - two over machines with COL 14-6-1 and CHI 14-7 this year. Both Garza and Rogers have a WHIP at or over 1.5 with a combined ERA of around 11.5. Cubs with the second best average and OPS in the NL.

Blue Jays (Drabek) +150 - Kid has his team 4-0 when he's pitching but hasn't figured in the decision the last three starts. Going up against a team that's hot at home, and off a sweep vs KC.
