    JoePa's Freaking Out Friday Bases

UPDATED: My brother was released from the hospital yesterday.....about 4 hours later he was transported back because he fell in the garage and said he felt dizzy and nauseous! His neck is ok, but he's back at Aultman on blood thinners and they're trying to bring down his heart rate which at one point was 220bpm. Could be anything from anxiety to real problems, keep your fingers crossed please!

just read your response to my Q yesterday, holy S.

if that isnt a miracle, someone tell me what is.

I think its great that he's been released and i wish him the best. Keep an eye on him, sounds like he'll need it for a bit.

careful with the bases, they can be deadly.

GL JoePa...I know its tough to go through but its important to stay patient as things will slowly work itself out...In the middle of February this year, my 83 year old grandfather was hit by a car while riding his bike...That morning he got a clean bill of health with his heart working at 100% capacity...His face went through the windshield of a car, fracturing his cheek bone, breaking his ribs, and puncturing his lung, and then when he fell he fractured his skull on the pavement...He was air lifted to St. Petersburg Trauma Center with severe head trauma...Later that night, he had a massive heart attack...The doctors didn't know if he would live or not...Long story short, its been just about three months and he is doing much better, still has a long road of recovery left, but he is expected to make a full recovery...So as you and your family go through this, just be patient, be positive, and believe everything will end up being OK...

On that note, lets make some money today!:beerbang:

JoeP- GL!....obviously hope all is well this weekend with your brother. I get on my soapbox every once in a while (lol....ok maybe more) and one thing i have always said is how important it is to take care of yourself and your body. I think that is great you exercise and eat right because so many complications health wise that creep up are a direct link to not eating well and not exercising. It doesn't mean nothing will happen to you if you do eat well and exercise, but it certainly minimizes the risk of things like high BP, heart problems, diabetes...especially creeping up early like in your 40's and early 50's.....that sort of stuff....hopefully your brother comes out of this in flying colors and it is a wake up call for him that may end up adding another 10-15 years to his life. Sometimes bad things end up being good things.....

anyhow......GL!....lmao....tell them to make sure they have his BP under control before this season's buckeyes take the field......might be nailbiter after nailbiter.....
