We counting that bull**** Cubs result as a loss?
Just brutal.
I guess.
5 Dimes mailed me back, and said it was graded correctly, and quoted their stupid ass rule, which I knew they would. In the past though, every sportsbook I had ever used had a rule specifically stating that any game not played or completed on the specified date was a no action, and where or when they came up with this dumbass rule i have no idea.
I honestly have never seen a rule so stupid. I mean ****, we picked the winning team, and got a loss? WTF?? That's ******* rediculous. Even a no action I could understand, since the game wasn't finished on the same day, but a loss i just don't get. I am going to email them back today and tell them how freakin stupid that rule is. I realize it's not going to change the grading of last night's wager, but maybe if enough people bitch about it, they might consider changing that bull**** rule at least.
lmao...you might want to send an email to Dallas and Toronto while you're at it stiffy....those 2 collapses were almost as bad as the graded wager......i am on the KC too (always bet my contest play for 1Unit) so hope they can avoid the broom job......
Yea, those NBA losses were pretty sad as well, especially the CRAPTURDS. Very overrated comes to mind with both of those teams....
Raptors "overrated"?
They were a 3 seed that was I believe a small fav as a series play from the start, and most pundits picked the Nets for the upset...
Stif, is that a new rule. I had to check 5dimes and Oly and they both have the same rule. It seems they can't give a team an extra at bat. They are covering their ass and I can see why. This is the first time I seen that come into play or someone mention I must say. I hate new rules cause I don't check. Just been going off of what I known for awhile

GL Stif!
Exactly. They were being touted up as possibly the best or second best team in the East there for a while though, when they were posting the best 2nd half record in the east. They've looked like garbage in the playoffs however, and that leads me to believe that either they were overrated, or they're huge chokers who can't handle the pressure of a playoff game, or both.
I am aggrivated that I sorta fell into the trap that they were actually a decent team with some potential to at least compete with the very average NJ Nets. I mean ****, they've been blown out of every road game, and they all but blew a 20 point lead last night in a do or die home game, and it's not like they're getting their ass whipped by the Suns or Spurs here or something....i mean really.
If NJ actually does anything worth speaking of in the next round and proves they are some sort of sleeper team, and is better than I think they are, or if the Craptors perk up and actually take this series like they should have if they were anywhere near as good as their 2H record, then I will be wrong, and admit as much, but until then, I have no choice but to see them as a bunch of huge overrated chokers.
shocked to see you on Freddy Garcia....gl tonight Stiff
Thanks....lol....yea, actually I'm more fading Chuck James. After a decent start to the season, he's been hit pretty hard lately, and in his last start he messed his back up too. I read that he's supposed to be fine, but don't they all say that? Plus the Phils have been hot. It's always nice to get a team who is scoring so many runs and winning most of their games as a dog against a pitcher who is far from lights out.
Garcia has actually surprised me and done pretty decently from what I've seen of him so far too. He was so bad last season, and his fastball had lost so much velocity that I believed he was pretty much done....but now I am second guessing myself on that. I'm not ready to say he's the Garcia of old, but I will admit he isn't nearly as bad as I thought he would be either.
