Yup for sure, this should have been a 4 game sweep for the Rangers. They are completely dismantling the Yankees.

I don't know about dismantling the Yankees. The difference in the series really comes down to hitting with RISP. Obvious 4 games is a very small sample size and is susceptible to surges and slumps. But here is how each team breaks down to this point in the series.

Game 1 NY 3-12 Tex 2-8
Game 2 NY 1-11 Tex 5-15
Game 3 NY 0-3 Tex 5-8
Game 4 NY 2-13 Tex 3-6

The problem for NY is the 3-4-6 hitters are doing terrible while Texas has been great with runners in scoring position. And in a short series that is what wins it. Texas also may have benefited from their pitchers being on relatively regular rest as opposed to NY where the starters had long layoffs due to the quick beating of Minnesota and the extra days off between series for tv purposes.

Because of the days off I would lean to the NL club in the World Series since their pitchers aren't likely to have as long a layoff as Cliff Lee. And while the NL clubs don't have an ideal DH, Texas will suffer quite a bit losing their cleanup hitter in the NL or by trying to put Vlad in RF and sacrificing defense. His mobility would be an issue in San Fran.
