My boldest prediction EVER in an online posting forum

I absolutely love the Cubs tonight.

Despite his poor season-stats, Carlos Zambrano has looked good as of late and as some of you may know, he's a VERY emotional guy.

He's got a newphew that is very ill and I read that he's very close to the nephew and is pitching with a "heavy heart" and "for" the kid.

If there was one guy in all of MLB who could stimulate his game or have his game crap out due to emotion, it's Carlos Zambrano. He's going to bring it tonight.

Another thing I dig about this game is that the top 3 hitters in the Cubs lineup absolutely dominate LHP. I'll go out on a limb and predict that Marlon Byrd goes deep tonight, maybe even 2x. In addition to the top 3 mashing lefties, Aramis Ramirez has done well vs. Maholm in the past.

Throw in the fact that the Pirates have only won 13 games on the road and I believe this play is as solid as any as of late.

Now for my most bold prediction that I've ever made in an online posting forum.

CUBS PITCHER CARLOS ZAMBRANO WILL HOMER TONIGHT. Yes, I am predicting that a pitcher is going to go yard. I'm not drunk, I'm not high. LOL.

    Good luck!

GL Kevin! That is quite a bold prediction!

There is just no way I could bet on the Cubs anymore though. They have been awful against the Pirates this year and when I read they had a 13 game road losing streak, my first thought was, "well, that will end tonight or tomorrow."
Big Z may indeed shut down Pittsburgh but the offense is way too streaky and if it's close late, chalk it up as a loss w/that 'pen.

      Overall Records

Each play is to win the # of units posted unless it's a dog then I'm betting that amount.

            Wow!!! Nice Call

            Gotta tell you Kevin,
I have been gambling over 30 years.
I have heard handicappers make some great calls,
but what you did tonight was amazing.
It was almost as if you had the boxscore in front of you
            before the game started.
I was not even looking at that game but because
of your passionate handcapping I did put a wager
            on the Cubs tonight.
            Thanks,
            The Kid
