    Saturday

A couple for me today. After today I'll probably be absent writeups for a week or so.

    Baltimore/TB Under 9 2 Units

Two teams that are struggling to score with two pitchers who have the talent to shut the other team down. Baltimore has been playing very well lately but I think we end with a 3-2 or 4-3 type of game. After the first inning yesterday baltimore didn't really threaten Tampa and I could see a whole game of that both ways. I think their's line value with Matusz but I prefer the under more.

    San Diego -110 2 Units

Latos has dominated SF, SF may be adding Jose Guillen to their OF defense today, and SD has the better bullpen. Plus thank you Jonathan Sanchez for motivating the Padres.

    Toronto +120 3 Units

Better starter, better lineup, better bullpen. Should be no more than a pick.

    Chicago -150 2 Units

Rick Porcello isn't good against Chicago, Edwin Jackson is good against Detroit, Detroit is bad on the road, Chicago is good at home. Not real suffiscated but in this case i don't know that it needs to be.

Good looking card franchise..i love all 4 plays to be completely honest..I think the White Sox sweep this weekend...the tigers throw porcello today, followed by the garbage man armando galarraga..I like porcello, and believe he will be a good MLB pitcher, but he needs to refine his sinker, and gain command of his secondary pitches..he has the stuff, but it's not gonna happen this year..

I agree on detroit. Porcello can have electric stuff at times. He throws a 95 mph sinker that's really heavy and he can throw his 4 seamer up in the zone 95-96. Even with just those two pitches he should be able to be effective (See: Price, David and Garza, Matt and Sabathia, CC). But he has a consistent ability to not miss any bats. I agree on detroit's rotation as well. Two above average starters you can back and play under on a regular basis and 3 starters to fade and go over with. Detroit is starting to get some guys back in their lineup but they have been terrible on the road all season. Too many really weak points.

Not a good day, 16 LOB for SD and bullpen blows a lead, Kelly Shoppach hits 2 HR and almost matches his full season RBI Total in one game and then a first row HR for Alex Avila. Sometimes it just doesn't fall your way.:bang::bang:
