    Friday MLB Pick

    Chicago White Sox -148 - $740 to win $500

The Sox have been struggling lately, and have dropped their past two series against lowly baltimore, and the current 1st place Twins. Nothing can describe the recent slide Detroit has been dealing with since the All Star break.

I hate eating chalk, but I have a few reasons why this is a strong play. For starters Jeremy Bonderman is garbage. Mark Buehrle hasn't been exactly awesome as of late, but he will go give the sox quality innings against a soft Tigers lineup..look for chicago to win at least 2 of 3 games this weekend before having a day off and traveling to minnesota and kc for a 6 game road trip. The tigers won't make a run, and don't have the personnel to make a run. Besides Phil Coke, and Jose Valverde the tigers bullpen is terrible. Look for Buehrle to pitch deep into this game, and give way to Thornton, and Jenks (who by the way isn't very tough himself) or JJ Putz.

This line should be around -185/-195 IMO, but due to the White Sox recent struggles, I feel books aren't giving them as much credit at home as they should.
