    April 25th bases with flmmkrz

Not a great day yesterday but if my worst day of the baseball season only saw me down a couple units I can live with that. Rebound time tho...

    Marlins + 140 x 1 unit

Hudsons pitching like a stud and the braves line up is hitting but this is too much value on the fish to ignore. Olsen hasn't pitched like it so far but he is a good pitcher who can be tough on the braves line up with them not hitting lefties as well overall as they do right handers. Main reason for the play is the fish bats are alive right now and they've had some success hitting Hudson in the past. Doesn't hurt the fish that it's in florida either.

    Dodgers - 135 to win 1 unit

Both starters are pitching well this season and both have pitched well in LA. I don't have much of an edge to either side based on pitching but I haven't like the giants batting line up all season so no reason to start liking it now. The giants are on a hot streak and a half but Wolf has held in check the biggest giant bat and is very tough on left handed bats in general. Aurilia is a right handed bat and has hit him well however. Lowry has a good record vs the dodgers but they have a veteran line up who have seen him a few times and have been able to hit him.

    O's + 117 x 1 unit

Too much value on the home team again. I know it's schill on the bump but Cabrera has looked good this year and has made himself a tougher pitcher to face. If he can keep the same type of control he has shown this season there aren't many red sox bats that have great numbers vs him. His old numbers I don't value as much as I would in other cases simply because he is playing like a different pitcher right now. Schills numbers vs the O's aren't great but players he had dominated in years past have started to hit him over the last couple years. If that trend continues they should be able to get their chances against him today.

    Twins - 138 to win 1 unit

Battle of the brutal pitchers. At least the twins have the players to make Perez pay for being brutal. Twins also have the luxury of having a great pen backing Ponson up.

    Mariners + 124 x 1 unit

Love the value here. No Bradley and no swisher and they're still the favorite??? Sorry DD but they were a pretty feeble batting line up to begin with and this takes away 2 of their better bats. The line up with them doesn't have great success vs washburn with Scutaro putting up the best numbers among the players who have over 10 abs vs him. I'll take my chances that the M's aren't going to lose by a dominating game by Scutaro. Blantons pitched the M's well but there a few bats who have hit him well like Ichiro and Johjima. The more the M's have seen him the better they have gotten at hitting him however, again I'm looking for this trend to continue.

      Mariners + 124 x 1 unit WIN + 1.24 units

Got lucky with the fish today but getting some ugly losses the last couple days. I don't mind the odd loss but it's a pain when the losses are the chalk plays from my value selections.

      + 1.4 + 1.24

      - 2.35 - 1.38 = 3.73

      overall tonight, 2-3, - 1.09 units.

You seen my new value based picks? Might have finally found a winning solution.
