    Twins/Rockies??Strange line?

Does anyone else find it odd that Ubaldo is only a -110 fav over minny this afternoon.

Weird line for the best pitcher in baseball + coloraod off loss. Granted, Colo is having trouble scoring and Liriano is on the mound but hes not all that great lately either.

Screaming to take the Rockies, but feel like its a trap for sure!

If you look at the traditional stats like W/L and ERA, Ubaldo has been in a class by himself. But if you dig a little deeper and take a look at what both his and Liriano's expected ERA would be based on hits allowed, walks, K's etc. their numbers would be a lot closer. Ubaldo has also been very fortunate in regard to opponents BA when the ball is put in play while Liriano has been unlucky in that regard. Liriano has also, IMO, faced a much more difficult schedule.

I think Ubaldo is do a little bit of a market correction in his next two outings (Minnesota and Boston) before a light landing against some NL west foes.

I'm going to roll with the Twins today.
