    Friday

One for me to start the day.

    Pittsburgh +200 2 Units

The Cubs have no business being -220 favorites. Tom Gorzellany has pitched well and while they share initials he is not Tom Glavine. TG has demonstrated a track record of underlying skills that show his ERA will rise. Burres threw 7 shutout innings against the Cubs. Burres has a similar ERA but it was acquired in the Big Boy league, specifically the Big Boy division. TG has one advantage in that he is a little less of a flyball pitcher. I'll take my chances today.

Once again Todd Wellemeyer shouldn't be this big of a favorite against a legit MLB pitcher. He will walk enough guys to start his own rallies.

      LA/SD over 7' -120 2 Units

I don't think either guy is overly effective tonight. I think one gets bombed. I have a hunch it's Garland but I don't trust Ortiz to keep it close otherwise I would play the Dodgers.
