Got a big day of plans, so I'm getting these in early. Finally got back on track yesterday going 7-3. Hit a real bad 6 day skid, so I'm glad I got that out of the way now. Here's what's looking good Saturday...
WHITE SOX/TIGERS UNDER 8.5 (+100) = *3.15 Units
- The trends for the under in this game are insaine. Both pitchers have been tossing good in their past couple starts, as long as Jose doesn't walk the bases loaded in the first inning, this matchup should be under 8 as it has been historically. Lean on the Tigers, might make a early morning play if the line drops.
ROYALS (+106) = *2.5 Units
- I must be crazy thinking the Roayls can pull 3 straight right now. However, I like Greinke in a rebound game here after his grandparents death. Boof had a very misleading spring, and hasn't shown anything this year. He's given up 5 HR's in his 3 starts at home so far; he only gave up 7 HR's in 9 games at home last year. He got knocked in his one visit to Kauffman last year, I think the same will happen today with the Royals hot. Twins record on the road is misleading I think. Greinke could prove that.
CARDINALS (+120) = *3 Units
- Not a good season for Cardinals backers this year, that is already clear. This lineup is very capable of having break out games however. If that’s going to happen this week, up against old teammate Jason Marquis seems most likely. Marquis 10/9 BB/K ratio is going to get him in trouble as he never has been a fan of windy Wrigley Field; it’ll be blowing out to left all day tomorrow. Suppan did well in his return to the Cards, but I don’t think Marquis is as seasoned as Suppan. I like Reyes to bring some sweet stuff against the Soriano-less lineup.
GIANTS (-150) = *3.51 Units
- Really don’t like Zito anymore, but he fell in love with his curveball again in Colorado his last time out. I expect him to bring that again today against the D-Backs who haven’t been good doggies on the road despite over 60% of them hitting overall so far this year. D-Backs have been on a big slide, and aren’t hitting lefties. I made the mistake of backing Gonzalez his last time to the mound, hope he doesn’t come for me again today.
Might be back in a few hours with some more, or later in the day for the night games. BOLT!
