    World Series

    game 1:

    Phi +1.5 -145

    2 units

Was very disappointed to see LANG likes Philly tonight and to win the series, but I gotta go with what I like tonight, which will without a doubt lose since that douche likes it....

LOL DJ. That would have been fine with me, but man was Lee outstanding...

      Game 2:

      PHI +1.5 -115

      2 units

Manuel doing the smart thing imo by putting Pedro in there for gm 2. He can handle the hostile crowd more than Blanton or Hamels. Yanks pen struggling and imo are going to cost them this series, and the Phils are WAY too good to be given a free +1.5 on the road, imo, so taking a shot for the improbable to happen tonight and for PHI to go up 2-0 on the road, or to at least hang in there till the end....

Yea, I thought so too Daws. Fading Hamels at such a good line vs NYY looked like $$$ to me...

            Game 4:

            PHI +150

            2 units

No respect for Blanton, or a Philly team that is tough as nails. I don't think they're scared of CC or anyone else, and I think they bounce back tonight, in basically a must win against a pitcher they have beaten more than they haven't....

Ha ya, what a complete fold on his behalf.

I'm on the Philly's tonight though.
                1.55 For 1

MLB to make sure the Yankees win at home.
I don't care much about the pitching match up, even though having Lee on the mound doesn't hurt.

Yea, I had to do it too. Plus the guy who bet his whole account on a 2 team ml parlay in hockey last week (and not, one but BOTH big faves lost) is all over NYY to close it out tonight (apparently he reloaded, lol) :beerbang:

                  So:

                  Game 5:

                  Philly -157

                  2 units

So I guess I'm 3-2 now, 1 run away from covering in game 2 and (another) Brad Lidge meltdown away from possibly cashing game 4 after a nice Phils comeback and a better than expected (by most) effort from Blanton, giving up just 5 hits and 4 runs in 6 innings. Although he definitely did struggle at times, he never did implode, and in the end he gave his team a chance to win. That Phils comeback was something that could definitely be expected too, as the NYY pen has blown ass for the most part with the exception of Rivera. But I'll take 3-2. It's a profit.

                    Game 6:

                    Phillies +170
                    under 9 +105

                    2 units each

The under play is a fade of Lang. The Phillies play is mine.

People keep saying Pedro is "due" for a bad game. That's idiotic. He's been nothing but brilliant so far in the playoffs. If he sucks tonight then so be it. With that being said, if Pedro pitches 5 or 6 good innings, then this line is TERRIBLE. I doubt Pettitte will get them to Rivera on short rest, which means NYY relief will come in, which has been bad news for them for the most part lately. This has been a great world series (for a change), and I think it's going 7 games.....

Lang has 10 dime Yanks -1.5 and free play on over 9
